They look nice, where did you find that paint?
Boise did not have it at the ACEHardware (or anywhere) here, but i had
a friend in Idaho falls that found it for me...
if you find it i suggest buying a couple of cans...
i like the way they turned out- thanks guys
no body had it- thats why if you see it, pick up a couple of cans,
you'll never know how much you'll need...
doing the bumper lights orange and flat blacking the front and
rear bumpers- hopefully tommorrow...
if i get crazy ambitious i will sand down the tailights and re-do them
red.... (as they are smoked currently)
i was very satisfied...
I ended up getting a case of orange on ebay. I still have 5 cans left. If anybody really needs a can and can't find one locally, I suppose I could help a wagon brotha' out...
So now you got 4 left.
(Pm me with prices please)
i did it to the corners on my crx and it took all day to dry...
oven 10 min...
i just got some amber indicators from an early EF for my shuttle.
i'd like to get the US spec sides though with the half reflector!
im sure you wont have troubles finding someone to trade with you-
you got clear corners??
i'll trade you...
if for some shitty ass reason i dont get the parts i need. i aint going. to depressing.
sick of waiting for them to dry----
it was spring time and hella cold- and it was taking for ever for
them to dry...
i also didnt lay them directly on a cookie sheet, jus grabbed a
muffin pan and threw them in the oven for a bit...
i watched them the whole time...
that sucks man... i also may be higher up in elevation than you,
suppose elevation has somehting to do with cooking time or somehting
anyways sorry to hear abou the results...
that sucks balls
fuck ovens.
good luck on the new ones. patients is key
omfg, I laughed so hard at this... really sorry for your misfortune, but it is pretty funny. At least you are back in action. Have fun at the meet and take pics!
BTW, when I did my hatch, they where dry enough to install within a couple hours.
I tested it on a spare 88-89 wagon corner light I had lying around and it looks good.
You will notice that the right hand side of the corner light still has the original amber color while the middle and left of the corner light show the Glass Coating color.
I will be doing both new corner lights I received from herbie16 and the turning signals on my wagon in the next few days, followed by pics of course.
Very interested in this one..
As luck would have it I haven't done a single thing with my car all summer.
I bought an old rooming house and my brothers and I have been busy gutting and renovating it back to a single family home I am going to sell next May.
All my time & money has been going into that.
