Or you can do like im about to do, and make your wagon (the one you're going to buy) do exactly what those jeeps are doing!!
Well, something close. Expedition vehicle for sure. Nothing crazy with the off roading. I'm thinking about buying this Xterra I'm driving now, and doing a 4wd conversion. We'll see. Might just buy a 4wd. Depends how much fun I can have camping and such this summer...
Man you need to get a Jeep, Charb! I don't really like the Xterra even though they can be capable. Besides there's a shitload more support for any model Jeep you get!
Rev...
does your company sell or can u get direct an H2 bulb HID CONVERSION and a lens for a Hella off road light.... I have seen a few different style glass got this light
one of mine was purchased busted and i had it powder coated BLACK ....
Hella 8" Rallye 1000 driving lights
its the LOWER RIGHT light
also i will need to get covers for all of them sense they will be sorta bull bar mounted ....
2 for the 6x9 inch
1 for this 8 inch
1 for the almost 11 inch
Here in Virginia the Law is such that off road lights must not be wired or must have covers ... i think its stupid but hey ...
 let me know best way to pay ....
im moving forward with this WILD project :!:
Yea, I'll be getting a Jeep eventually since my company offers interest free loans on them. I'm looking into a Comanche to serve as a truck as well. We sell whole body tubs/kits for you to build your own!

I do really like Jeeps! But up here in the NorthWest, when you camp, you gotta be ready for CRAZY weather possibilities... that's why I like the Xterra. There's room for me and my lady to sleep in the back. Nice and safe from the conditions. Someday I'll have a rock crawler. But again, I'm just looking for an expedition vehicle that I can sleep in. That's why I'm not sure about doing any 4wd conversion, cuz then it's a project lol
two wranglers and one cherokee sport. I loved all of them. The cherokee sport was 4wd and a stick.
I serious looked into buying another jeep as my daily. Ended up going to jeep shop and looking at used jeeps. Pretty much have every color and they can build how you want kind of thing.
I ended up buying my ep3 instead. Glad I did due to that would be costing me $4 a gallon to drive 60 miles a day.
I'll end up with another one.
The deciding factor for me was both of my kids are small and both of our jeeps we never ran a top on so with the kids and them being small I would have to keep the top on which was a no go for me.
I ended up with the Land Rover, can do all what a jeep can do and more.
Yea, I plan on picking up a Comanche or a Cherokee depending on what happens to be for sale when I decide to get one. Interest free loan from work ftw!
Damnit - these pictures make me want an XJ real bad again (I know none were pictured). They also make me want to put a bigger lift on the girl's WJ. I suppose only after she's a little less pregnant though.
BACK FROM THE DEAD. For all that were interested in this thread long ago....here is a link to the site we created to house information and images for our vintage Jeep collection since it's gotten fairly large.

If it weren't for $4 a gallon for gas, I probably would be done with Hondas...

past couple weeks, i've look for @ cj7, scramblers, and jeepsters. most with gm conversion, can't justify the gas use.

BTW.. nice looking Jeeps
