B18a with P30 pistons ideas and input please!

So I've been doing a lot of research on this topic since I've had a lot of down time...surgery screws in wrist lol....but while working on my ls crx i found the valvetrain to be chattering an awful lot, so hired a friend to do valve lash? adjustment...going smooth till last spring retainer and rocker arm shot out...no damage but valve dropped....so pulled off head and called local mahine shop who said they'd deck the head and put the valve in and tighten the assemly for cheap. NOW. i know the p30's get me roughly 11;1 cr nd that they don't require any machining to mate to ls rod. my question is with this increase would i need cam gears for adj. tuning and would the oem head hold up with the increase of compression n power? ie valve clearance. i do have 4-1 headers and xs intake mani. arp studs and a mls gasket. is it worth th 100 bucks? supposedly good for 10-25hp...but idk how accurate that is

    the head will be fine and u dont NEED cam gears but they might come in handy. I cant remember what motor p30's came from but i had some JDM ITR pistons in my ls/vtec years ago and it was a fun lil cheap NA set-up only made 171whp with ITR cams but back in the day it was pretty quick now a days it would be gettin lit up with most the shit people run these days.

    they are out of the sir2 b16. i have another motor currently being built (ls/vtec, 13:1, stg 3, 83mm) and this is just for fun. thanks for the input. an extra 10 ponies for 100 isn't too shabby
