Looking at a 1990 Civic Wagon, but there's an accident?

They're wanting $1,600 for it, it only has 93,000 original miles, but it's been a little accident. It bent the radiator support so the hood won't shut right, but it doesn't really look too bad. I'm no mechanic or anything though, how big of a deal is this going to turn out being? Is the bent radiator support a deal breaker?

Thanks,

Jordan

Can you take a picture of the bent bit? Its hard to give advice without seeing it.
In the past I have cut a radiator support out of a wreck and welded it into a car with damage (not a wagon). Its only really to support the radiator and headlights so its not structural.
In a wagon the center of the radiator support actually unbolts with 4xbolts. If its the bit that goes over the headlight it will be a panel beating job or cut and replace.

Be sure that there is no creasing in the chassis rails though, this will mean it need to go on a chassis machine to be straightened out

Yeah I'm going to get some more photos of the damage tomorrow and I'll post them up. It bent down the very front of the hood, it still latches, but doesn't close right and you can see that the headlights aren't being held in right. :/ Finally found a wagon for an okay price, but it's probably going to be worse off than I can manage. What do you guys think I should offer on it?

i have to say for the price if its not frame damage and there is no cancer i think its a good deal ive delt with having someone fix rad support damage and if there isn't frame damage its really not that bad and its not to horrible if you have the skills yourself

I am cutting the front off of one that has minor damage soon, so I may have some spare pieces... Now that I have my AWD, I am really going to start on my wago-camper
