(paint prob)Ok what should i do?

ok a couple weeks ago i saw that my wagon is two different colors of blue..and while looking at other peoples wagons and i also realized that the black uhh not sure what there called but side fender things are sprayed blue..and to cover the two different shades of blue the previous owner put a red racing stripe down the side... :evil: and last week kinda as a joke i just tried to take the stripe off with nail polish remover..and that annnd the gross shade of blue is now coming off...im defitnetly not doing this on the WHOLE car. so what i want to know is what should i do about this? could i sand it all down re spray? or save for a legit paint job, even though those cost quite a bit :P..so just want to see what you guys think..oh and where can i get new black side bumper things? because right now i'm pretty sure i have the ugliest wagon on the site :P

    some previous owner did a super job spray-bombing the sides of your car. I would say sand it and paint over it. Also, you can use trim paint to get your moldings black again... it's sold in a spray can at the auto parts store.
