Alignment dowels?

Hey guys I'm gonna be doing my head gasket and I noticed that I only had 2 dowel pins when I took the head off...now my question is how many are there supposed to be??...I called honda to order my hg and bolts and the guy there asked if I wanted the dowels and he then said that there was 2 different kinds and that there is more then just 2??...is this correct??

    The head to block interface only has 2 of them and they're the same. If yours are still in good condition, you don't need new ones. However, they're so cheap that it might be worth it to replace them. Be wary of getting the old ones out though. Sometimes it can be difficult.
