Taking out the Dash?

Alright, I want to take out the dash, it makes a bunch of racket when I'm stopped at a red light, and it's getting on my nerves. (Probably going to install a few guages while I'm at it)

So how the heck does it come out? I've almost had it out once before, but it would never come completely loose. Whats holding on??

I'd try to locate the raddle b4 removing the dash.Don't mean to discourage you :? Akiraboy & a few others have removed the dash.If you're going to remove the dash think about swapping dashes.CRX & Teg dashes (& even RSX dashes ) fit.I swapped a CRX dash into a Wgn @ the junk yard. There's a ton of brackets & ties to remove.A lot are hidden

The CRX dash is a straight swap. After I swapped dashes @ the yard.It was so much work...I didn't buy the CRX dash.

You use the Wgn door panels. It's been a while, but from what I remember is the CRX dash vent ports line up with the Wgn door ports.A lot of Honda parts are Honda Universal.
  • My brother had to take off the dash to put in the electric heaters. He swears he'll never do it again. If you can find that rattle, it might be easier to correct it than to swap out the dash.
  • crx dash? hrm, that's tempting.
  • Any year restrictions on the dash fits?
  • anyone have any pictures of crx dash fitment into a wagon?
