    start with the basics check for spark , check cam timing i put a z6 head in a obd2 civic and had to put the guts from the y8 dist in the z6 dist . and when i got it running i could not get the timing to set . so you might have to check to make shure the rotor points at #1 on top dead center i think you can get a jumper to run the obd 2 dist also check that the t belt is on correctly
