Electrical harness from a D16A6
A_CrxRider
Band Wagon
Hey guys,
I was able to get a crash/damage car where I could take parts out for my wagon. Since my engine was giving me some problems already, I decided to switch the engine. I'm taking my old regular stock engine and putting the D16a6 engine. Now I have all the parts but I'm confused about the whole harness.
I'm taking all the parts from a crx si car I just got, so I have the mpfi manifold, ecu, resistor box, engine harness, pretty much all the required parts to put on my wagon.
So..
Can I just take off the electrical harness from my wagon and replace it with the harness the new engine came off?
If I have to use the electrical harness from my wagon, will I have to do any changes?
I'll be putting some pics of my progress.
Thanks all!

the easiest way to do this swap is to do a mpfi conversion to your stock harness. it involved running 4 new wires. its really not hard to do at all.
you will find many many places where the plugs on the A6 harness differ from the B2 harness.
I'm already looking at some sites on how to do the mpfi conversion. It's really not that hard when you have the right information.
i really like this how to. i just follow it paragraph by paragraph and do what it says, as it says, and it always works!
