i got around to working on my wing again today. put a smile on my face haha.
sanded down the bondo and laid a coat of black on there for the guide coat so i can find the low spots and fill it in.
here you can see whats left of the black which are the low spots that needed filling.
it got dark pretty quick so after the last layer of bondo (i hope) i left it dry til morning.
i have not worked on the underside yet. if all goes smooth tomorrow morning on the top side, the under side will start. also hoping to make a trip to a local store to buy some gelcoat etc.
Just went through all 6 pages,And I must say. I am impressed sir, wheels are awesome, swap is awesome, wing is awesome, Its pretty easy to say that I love your car. Keep up the good work *Thumbs Up*.
thanks everyone. i took the step today to make a purchase on the basic items i need for making a mold.
todays work.
also thinking about getting extended studs to run spacers in the rear to push the rims out a bit more since its more sunk'd than i thought. check it out.
ushat: i might be able to ship it out that far bro. it isnt a big deal.
theres still alot to be done to it. alot of pin holes came up but it isnt something i cant fix you know. didnt get a chance to work on it today but tomorrow definitely.
sorry didnt mean to write in caps: but if you start fabricating these wings and selling them I will be first in line hahaha... its great work!!! and i want one on my wagon, had a dream about it last night haha
i went camping this weekend. i sat and stared at the wing to find it crooked. i took a flat piece of wood and laid it against the end of the wing and notice that it isnt straight. if i sand it anymore, it'd go through the fiber glass. there are other areas that didnt get my likings. so im abandoning it and try to start fresh.
Loving the wagon. I have a 90 EX Sedan as well. Hoping to do a full rebuild on her this winter and get her back to lookin' good. I've had her for 12 years, about time she got some love again. Hoping to autox the sedan next year and keep the wagon a daily/winter car. Keep up the awesome work.

thanks! i sold the 90 ex few months ago. truly miss it. i have the 91 dx now that has a built lsvtec turbo ready to go in. but the car needs a lot of work before its street worthy again. you aint nothing unless you own a sedan and or wagon.!! haha.
ok heres what i did today. after watching plenty of videos on how to make a skimboard on youtube, i decided that im going to make a new wing from scratch with foam sheet @ 1/2 in thick from home depot. the 1st wing i made took few weeks to get to where its at. this foam took 45~min to get most of the structure down already.
wrapped it up.
i am still going to finish my original wing and maybe give it to my brother for his wagon.
Your cars look BEAUTIFUL... Ive been following your builds for acouple years now and I must say.. Good show.. Keep it up.. Your teaching and inspiring me to keeep going on my wagon..
