thanks! so last night i completed my obd1 conversion. GSR dizzy p06 chilled to a b20vtec map with vtec @ 5200. before i did so my car threw cels for intake temp sensor, iacv and o2. after the conversion everything starts and such, codes still there. car was hard to drive but above 2000rpm its fine.
this morning i traced my wires to find out my iacv and intake temp plugs were in opposite locations. so i switched it and the car ran PERFECT!. now i need to fix the o2 and its golden. the Vtec kicks puts a smile on my face
Aaron: havent really done anything to it. getting it ready for the Blox meet here. ive just been driving it thats all. today im painting all the trims and such and attempt to make some fiber glass visors! haha.
Awesome built!.... WOW! Sooooo Clean! Kudos man. I am so ashamed of my wagon after seen yours. I wished I had your know how. I barely have my rt steelies back from sending out to powder coat it. ( that took like forever! and I didn't even do any of the work). Quick question, on one of the earlier picture I see that the driver side back door molding was bent. Did you replace it or straighten it. If so, how did you make it so perfect?
aaron, i havent started yet cause we were renovating the house interior. but its done now and i will get down to it and see where it goes. also going to start making a charge speed replica spoiler for the sedan as well. but first i need another stock spoiler.
slowagon, never be ashamed of your wagon. be proud that you chose the right car to drive. all wagons have potential, you just got to put work into it. everything i learned was from reading and watching videos as well as trial and error. the molding was replaced with the cleanest one i found from the junkyard.
joshua, im still on there, but i dont really post much. my post counts come from comments i left as compliments, asking for help or giving help. thats it. im more in the force induction, paint and build thread section. oh and EF. the paint is still good. but its cover in 6 months of dust. so i dont know how it looks under that.
nothing new with the wagon. took it to Blox show and i had a chance of winning but..not as flashy as other cars. after this show i told myself i will start cleaning this car up for the upcoming show such as SpoCom.
I remember seeing this Wagon a long time ago on CL in the Bay Area listing looked junky i'm glad you put in work and made it look 50 times better than how it originally looked.
delsol: thank you sir. i didnt do anything today (like always) cause my friend brought his cousin over to my house cause he came from LA to check out my car and he's been following my build for quite sometimes. few hours past and it got dark. maybe another day.
ushat: thanks! all ed came with carbs?? that sucks though. maybe an exterior build? or engine swap would do it?
gray fox: thanks! im out here in sj too. i figured the way was at a good price after negotiating so i took the deal. i was going to send the owner a link to this build but..i dont have his email anymore haha.
