yeah, i though i had broke something. looked down to see my shifter in neutral. if i had the adjustable ball on the ktuned shifter all the way up, it would occasionally come out in all gears. right now its fine. it has come out on my in 5th gear before. i was driving and i was at a constant speed. then my car just over revved in which i looked down and it was in neutral. probably going to remove the shifter and get a fastline shifter possibly.
It took me a couple days of reading here and there, but I read the whole build thread. That was amazing. At one point I jumped from page 4 to 14 and was all "WTF! What did I miss?" So I went back and had to read it all. Very impressive and classy build. I love stock wagons but seeing that side by side makes the stock look boring. Well done Sir! I will keep watching this thread.
im glad you went through it @northxnwagon thank you for taking interest in my build! i enjoy working on this car and i love it more than the car that made my youtube channel i love updating everyone on what has been done with the wagon but has not had updates in quite a bit. though this month and continuing forward, there will be HUGE updates as whats to be done are Suspension, complete color change over, complete engine overhaul and misc interior pieces. this thing will flood far worse that it has ever been!
@zakbloom, its a talon intercooler from cxracing or justintercooler on ebay. dual backdoor as well.
I know you are getting your wheels fixed, but saw your current ones in IG and love the look andof think youI should keep them. Whats the specs/ offset?
so this past weekend, did some kanjo racing and got a speeding ticket. my very first in my years of driving. it was my fault and it could have been worse.
went to a friends meet and greet homie kick back bbq as well! it was awesome to meet and see friends from different cities!
some photos.
i am wearing the navy blue beanie on the far right with my hands behind my back
picked up some remaining pieces to my gray interior swap!
also finishing my second wing for my buddy!
lastly! i got my regas back tonight!
and scored some jdm ef5 beagle seats for dummie cheap! :X
the car is currently sitting like this minus the moldings and such, its under going a full body work and color change! its getting exciting now isnt it?!
started body work last weekend. tomorrow will be more updates. 1/4 are always a bitch when its damaged. there were already previous filler from last times repair. maaco messed it up before painting it.
rage gold with blue hardener, sanded down 60 grits then 150 to 200 and primed with 2k primer
@queef the scion TC cement gray (concrete) today i started on the hood. although i didnt sand it down due to getting side tracked with attempting a 3pc front end to clear my 24.5 slicks. i will upload in a few.
@Nz thanks brother! i think when i bought the front bumper, it was an item i was glad i bought! although i think i want to try and see how it would look with a stock SIR front lip instead of the jdmsh!t lip.
im hoping this page will stay active now that im actually starting the body work and so on. i register for 2 shows coming up (Eibach and wekfest) i have a deadline to meet so the progress has to keep going.
so i didnt start on the doors, but i did do the hood. although i had gotten super side tracked, i didnt think it was a bad thing LOL!
what im doing here is attempting a 3 piece front end for my wagon. my slicks had chewed out my ef9 bumper and i do not want to loose that down the track. i know alot of people run the 24.5 slicks with the stock fender and bumper setup but i just seem to have that shaving problem. people where telling me to cut my bumper but after spending the 400$ on that, fuck no!
i have mint fenders for paint, so i used the banged up white fenders as my base. then i had a stock spare bumper (not my stock white one) as well as a plastic filler. i sliced and flared the end out to where it meets the slicks then "fixed" it to stay in that position to use it as a guide line for foaming the fender. so far i think its going well. im also going to probably use a stock 1st gen integra front lip and also mold that on with the bumper and filler to make it one piece.
looks skeptic right?
foamed with "great stuff"
shaping
shaved emblem hole
i didnt snap a pix tonight but the hood is completely sanded and primered.
but here you can see the fender is almost done shaping. the inner where you see the cardboard, that whole section is going to be hollow/fiberglass. once its all fiberglass, the foam will be cut out.
You def should make a thread for the RT. Nice fab work on fender mods. Are you planning to cover greatstuff with foil or will it hold its shape with the fiberglass and resin? Looking forward to seeing how this beast turns out.
it will either get taped up or foiled up. the resin ate the foam last time when i was working on the wing. once i lay down a few layers of high grade fiber, i will hollow out the foam underneath and lay more under there.

Looks like a good fit.
