So I'm only though a couple of posts so far but I do love my hondas, currently owning 4 and buying another tomorrow... (My gf is still with me yes ) 1 EK racecar in the build, the shuttle, a DA8 that is attempted to be sold, a DC2 parts car and an EG6 tomorrow that needs a few repairs then sold. Just last weekend I finished wrecking a jet black DA8 that had a front accident But it gave me a bunch of parts for the shuttle which is the bonus.
But onto the shuttle...
Here's how she sits at the moment, still thinking of a name for it (Going to buy a numberplate and call it whatever i get)
It's a '94 EF2 shuttle, NZ new I'm pretty sure, Dirty dual carb
Mods so far:
- EF Neuspeed races on KYB shocks front and back
- 15x7 ABT's from your fav NZ mod
- Super extended shift knob - Actually just another gear stick wound onto the top...
Plans for the future:
- Sort out some coilover setup
- DA8 disk front and rear hubs
- DA8 front? and rear swaybar sway
- B16a swap, from you guessed it a DA8 (Plus install the EFi conversion I have sitting round)
- Interior from.... ummm a DA8?
- Rear hoop instead of rear strut brace, plus bracing at the front
- Fix all the little things (Few plastic clips broken, the previous owner had the side swape as you can see above...

What are the shocks/springs out of? And if you're gonna get rid of them for some coilovers let me know :P
Um not really, got them from NZ-DB8R, ask him lol
Plan is to get some good pics of it first then photoshop them to see what I'll like, I dont know if I'll go crazy wheels like blue or anything, but I dont actually own the wheels so will have to check with the boss before i do anything to them lol

15x7" +35et ABT wheels, ABT is a Tuning company of some sort that works with VW. Wheels were off a VW Golf
Japan also sold the Beagle until 96
Hopefully in a week or 2 time I can get all the little paint imperfections fixed by a friend of a friend type deal. Will be organising wheels down the track for this, the custom wheel place I was going to get some wheels from was in the area of latest earthquake just last week so I best leave it for a while before I enquire again about wheel style options... The plan is 15x8 obviously :P But just going to slowly investigated what is quite easy to do for the offset on thsoe badboys, was thinking about +20 or +10, but if 0 offset is easy enough to put in then why not eh?
On a side note, My EK is going off the road in a weeks time to get completely stripped down head to toe, seam welded to buggary, then put minimal back together including a nice little H2B kit in the mix of things Ordering the stuff from the group called Kaizenspeed if you guys have heard of them?
Beautiful car BTW, I am probably going to have my prelude seam welded before I get it caged.
Haha, sweet. Are they proper lowering springs for the shuttle, or like the longer shocks from an ef/crx? Looks good anyway. Will call a shotgun to be next in line
Not really, the rear is binding a little bit. Have about 3 other sets of suspension to try out on it to get a better ride, we shall see. Fronts are pretty much perfect
-Non-rusted White DA8
-Completely stripped angry DA6
-Newly purchased EG6
-The skuttle
Door etc getting fixed this week DA8 being sold this week too
Cut some spring and get the shocks shortened a little?

Long as it's captive and you don't go to VTNZ?
Low is good, but it has to be able to handle good which is why decent springs matched with good quality shocks is the way to go
Also have a DC2 brake booster, any problem with that? or do I need same era booster for a shuttle?
Booster should work, just be sure the angle the M/C sits on will line up with your M/C of choice
Got my AV integra front lip all fixed up, just gotta do a coat of bumper black and attach it on, then have a spare DA front lip around to do NZ-DB8R's idea and attach it to the back after some slight repars and a paint as well.
Also installed a few tidy up S/S machine screws to the engine bay to replace you generic 10mm bolts, looking better. But have to spend most of my spare time working on my EK, thing needs to get finished! And Dan, I might have to take you up on that offer
