Ball joint question

Help. lol

So I'm pretty much rebuilding my whole front suspension right now (all new ball joints, tie rod ends, etc.) and I hit a stumbling block.

This wagon has Adjustable Camber kits installed on it by the previous owner. Once I got the upper ball joints off of the control arms, I realized that they're smaller than the stock ball joints I ordered for it...

The Camber Kit is either from REVO or Skunk2, not sure which as both of them look the same, and the guy who put them in can't remember. I got all the old paperwork from the prev. owner, but, of course, that particular receipt is missing.

Anybody on here have one of those two brands of Camber kit and know which ball joints it uses? I can't find the info on either company's website, and I have sent them emails but I'm impatient. Need to get my wagon back on the road cause I use it for work right now.

FYI I did search this site before posting this and couldn't find anything relevant, so if this is a repost question or whatever, I did try.

May need more info.Is the Skunk2 the one with the sliding ball joint?
  • Yes - REVO and Skunk2 use the ball joint pressed into a plate with 4 Allen bolts in slide tracks on the control arm. I'll take pics and post today.

Most of the camber kits will the adjustable ball joints can be switched from kit to kit. Only exception I have found to this is the Ebay kits.

Blox, Skunk 2, and I believe Buddy club all sell replacement ball joints for there kits, however they do not sell the ball joint by it self, you have to buy it already pressed into the black that the allen head bolts go into.

Just type in one the company names above into google with "replacement ball joints" after it and it should return the info you are looking for.

why didn't I just do that in the first place.

    Thanks.

I was all thinking I had to re-use the plates and find the right joint to fit them.

They don't list them on their website however, which threw me off.
