Oil leaking from right rear struts?

Hey i walked out this morning to say good morning to my wagon and i saw an oil puddle underneath the back rear right strut. It looked like oil...also the strut was covered in it... Is this because my e brake or what? Can you guys help me to try n solve this dillema?

  • That would be the fluid in your strut exiting...aka you have a sevearly blown strut.

  • lmao.. sorry i miss interpreted it... lol... i have rear brakes... i meant it as i dont have a rear brake conversion.. and what not..

    and my automotive skills are intermediate... so i dont know everything....

    My wagon did the same thing to me. Mine ended up being the wheel cylinder leaking.

    Blown Strut, when you put in Coilovers with stock struts and lower it out you get blown struts after a while. You could do extended tophats to keep it in the correct range of travel or get shorter struts/shocks. Tophats are cheap and easy.
