well I came to "the stock" on saturday, to pick up the wagon
rode down with "wiggles" cause his wheels were in the back of the wagon, and I couldnt find a ride.
left in wagon to do some stuff to it.....muhahahahaha
drove thru this on the way, driver wiper sucked...pass wiper worked good. :SMH:
hi
had some junk in the trunk
well, i got home and pulled her in the shop alongside "the beast"
wagon had some serious exhaust problems, so i says "lets tackle that first".
so i try to get the jack under her and it takes me a hour to get up on jackstands...friggin lowriders
threelegged dog
out with the old.
so the cat was welded straight to the exhaust....an it looked like a 9yr old welded the collector flange to it, so i started there.
cut the cat out, found a new coll. flange, and a 2.25" 3 bolt flange....pulled out a test pipe i had laying around for a quick measurement and walllahh
bolted her back up....bymy damn self...spring bolts suck
bolted up the 2nd 3 bolt flange and started laying pipe....srrsly
so then i went over to my pile of parts on the floor
and slung it together, welding the top
then flipped her over and hit the bottom
wire brushed the welds and hit them with some high temp paint
then bolted her up
ground clearance
sorry my pics are doody, no cam. and i typed this with a baby on my shoulder.
so the haters can bite me.
stay tuned for, body work/paint

I adjust them to have 16mm spacing on both sides now. So tires are not sitting totally under the fenders.
He has all the stuff but not the time kind of thing.

As soon as it gets back in my hands then yep.
Right now it is at my other facility "CBE's", little joke between me and cbe when looking for parts.
He is painting a hood and fender for it. Plus trying to pull that bump right near the door out.
He said he is shooting for having it all done saturday afternoon and possibly dropping it off.
what does the weekend after look like if I get it back this weekend.
I really wanna do the interior swap.
Rich
Holy hell I was impressed.
1. got to hear how loud my car was. Er nope totally nice sounding (very quiet).
2. got to yank the headliner so we could work on the roof.
Pulled the headliner showed CBE a bam-bam trick that got rid of one of the bumps.
He started working on the dimple and got most of it out.
Changed out my 2 spoke steering wheel for a momo racer wheel.
Then just kicked back and talked.
By the way on a personal note.
A wagon headliner will fit in an EP3.
I gave it to a buddy of mine to make it right.
He did that and more.
Here is some pictures of progress.
and heres the bottom side
to.....
the vac diagram sticker is still there
thanks
He is wonders with metal.
He looked at the bump I had on the roof line and said that is easy.
He pulled the first one out, can hardly tell it was there.
Well time to update the thread.
got these last night.
Hopefully on to paint this next weekend.
Mud was drying as of last night.
I think Doug is a little bit more motivated due to he has a timeline put on by his dad selling the house and also he wants to get his car done.
base coat
fender done
hood done
roof done.
local no.
CBE is in gods country about 1.5 hrs from my house.
But his workmanship is outstanding.
I have not been really pushing due to we are both family guys.
He is under the gun now cause he wants to get his hatch running.
So that means wagon needs to be finished.
Bam and I are going to an interior change.
Then it will be done except little subtle things.
Yep I think I know that person as well.
I know the passenger seat has dibs on it.
I know the door panels have been claimed as well.
should be picking up the wagon this week.
got a text saying all done just doing some color sanding etc.
