  • I gotta post whore my '87 Si because I loved it so. I traded it for $500 off an H22 EG hatch back in 2004. Worst trade I ever did. The thing had about 120K on it and ran flawlessly.

you can never love em too much! like the wagons they have character and are rare in the honda world =)

Can't wait for updates. I've only seen one of the old school Hondas done up and that was my old sleeper 84 CRX.

I wouldn't say the hatches are rare, but it is truly a sight to see any pre-88 Civics on the road anymore where I am.

Nice score! Need to move on over to redpepperracing.com! You need one of these gauge clusters! Got this on from NZ for my 87' CRX.

LSVTEC PRE 88???? That's so sweet! was yours an si or the carb 1.3 before you swapped it?

That cluster is so sick! almost like an s2000 one!

does that site do alot of pre 88's?
  • JDMWago666JDMWago666 Senior Wagonist
In order to do LSvtec on those cars it has to be the Si model. Unless you want to reroute/redo the fuel lines and also the fuel pump and all that good stuff. It's really not worth it to use the non Si models for the fuel injected swaps. Get some side draft carbs, that's what I used. Hope this helps.
