So i guess i forgot to introduce myself. My name is Josh and i work at an auto parts store. I have a 91 Civic Wagon that im going to be putting a turbo D16Z6 in.
stock sleeves with a block guard? I plan on doin a similar build maybe not as fancy im leanin more towards vittara pistons, and shot peened LS rods. whats your power goals? use?
I cant tell but is your block guard level with the head? I have always tapped mine in about a 1/4" lower than the deck so water can flow around it just seemed like it would make hot spots if it were level but this is just my thing i might be full of shit for all i know.
Yeah its stock 75mm sleeve with the golden eagle block guard. i had the shop put it level with the head because thats what i was told from golden eagle. Power goals are somewhere in the 300-350 range. im putting all this in so it will be a reliable 325hp on the everyday street and if i REALLY wanted to i could go more.
I always loved hybrids i had a nice one a few months back but i sold it when i needed some cash. for the price they arent bad i had one on a stock GSR back in the day good steady power till i blew the motor up.... I wanna try running my stock turbo off my dodge with a different exhaust housing to help it spool on my next wagon.
