So, has anyone got the vintage blues?

I lament over this all the time...finding parts is a bear. I know many here find a way to make things work (cutting springs, etc), but i guess i'm more of a purist. I really tend to think very highly of Honda Engineering....my belief has been that here is a 20yr old vehicle and the technology is still good, as soon as you deviate from the original engineering specs in one department, the other specs get stressed...but I digress...

maybe you have a part you cant find anywhere anymore? Maybe you have a success story about finding the last item available anywhere?

    hahaha, yeah. body panels and rust panels not being available are a PITA for sure. i could get anything for my old crx.

    not a wagon, but we put the last prelude hood in the u.s. on a 90,i think, last summer. i haven't bought anything for the wagon yet :cry:

    Yes, it sucks at times. But it's also kind of an adventure. Forces you to make do, and get creative at times, which is fun.

    For both my cars, everything I pull off thats in good condition, I keep, that way I either have spares or can choose to return the car to pretty much original condition if i ever feel the need
