Issues after doin a MPFI conversion. Help needed.

Ok to to start this off. I am pretty good with wiring and have done this conversion before without any problems.
The issue we are running into is that when you start the car it fires up and dies. Now if it stays running (no longer then 20secs usually) and you touch the gas, it immediately shuts off. If you try and start it with the gas pedal depressed it wont even think about starting. It seems to me that it might be losing fuel, because if i spray carb cleaner down the throttle body it will stay running. The only code that I get is a Code 10. for the IAT, but I have had this code in the past and it never caused a starting problem.
Now I have check the timing a hundred times. I have tried two diff ecus, also diff distributors. Tried different injector resistor box.
What I am working with here
d16a6 new head gasket, intake gasket, the usual stuff when replacing head gasket.
running a crx si ecu
If anybody has any ideas please let me know. Or if you need any more info.

Sometimes there can be a failure in the main relay or ignition switch that can cause the fuel pump to not continue to run once the key is let back from the "START" position to the "ON" position after the car starts up. I would get out the voltmeter and do the tests for checking the ignition switch and main relay.
