Volvo lip

Okay so I got a volvo front lip from the junkyard and supposedly from all the civic wagons I see here that have it looks like it fits but the one I got was short :(

Heres a pic of what it looks like (NOT MY CAR)

I was wondering if anyone can tell me from which volvo this front lip came out of cuz im guessing they are not the same length.

    Looks like the one that I have. I mounted mine with the notch facing upwards and it just misses the edge of the bumper but lines up on the ends. It's hard to tell from 5 feet away and in pictures.

    I mounted mine the same way he did his but its too short. If I aligned one of the ends to one side it looks good but when I look at the other side Im like missing a good 3-4 inches. FUUUUUUUU. I guess I should've measured first before I bought it at the junkyard :(

    um, 95 lip I think, off a 940 volvo.
    they're going to be a little short on the corners, but they look sexy. a little fabrication and you can make them legit,
    slo88crx was the one who originally told me about them
    I cut the corners of mine and bent them out to fit a little better,
    but you can't complain about a 10$ junkyard lip

    I just saw a lip off a Volvo 240 wagon...looks awesome. The years are like 78-93 or something ridiculous like that. I called Volvo, and they still sell them new for $130.

    I've only seen it in black, but I think it could look pretty sweet.

    I think another wagon here has a volvo lip but I cant remember her username. I think it was wago_jen sumthing like that but anyways she said that hers came off a 970 volvo.

    I saw some of your guys pics and it looks nice. Your lip somehow looks longer than mine though. Did slo88crx modded his to fit as well?

    yeah he modded his probably nicer then mine.
    the first time I did it I took my time, after my wreck I just slapped that shit on.
    look for a 95 940 volvo.
    bottom lip just bolts right off.

    my volvo lips. off of 80's volvo wagon. i just took to of the lips sense they were short and cut them down to fit. i like how t looks. and the lips were like $20 for both.

    Lip looks good fitted all the way to the ends. I would plastic weld it, add some filler, and repaint it.

    i like the sectioned look. the ends of the lips were long but easily cut down to fit flush.

    It doesn't look bad. I have the same one. Just fitted a little differently. :D

    I guess there is a reason for having his license plate so low... to hide split cut in the lip :lol:
