Rear Defroster

Hey guys, I just pulled a rear defroster switch out of my EF sedan parts car, and I would like to use it on my wagon. I had always wondered what the deal was with the rear defroster on my wagon, the button has been missing since I got the car.

I'm assuming that it broke and was never replaced, since there are defrost lines on the rear hatch glass, and no block of plate in place of the switch. If this is the case, I should just be able to find the plug under the dash and plug it in. But I just want to check.... everybody else's wagon came with a defrost switch right?!?

    I've been reading a little and it seems that this switch isn't a click-in click-out toggle.... am I going to have to hold it down the whole time I want the rear defroster to come on? I'm confused....

    Mine is push in, to turn it on, it lights up. Push in, it will come out and turn off.

    ^^^^ mine is that same. only problem i have is that only half the defroster works. like that top 4 lines thats it
