Turn signal problem

first of all the right corner light never works. then 3 different things happen intermittently
sometimes the left corner and both lower turn signals work fine.
sometimes neither corner lights work but lower signals do
then sometimes when using the right signal the left corner will blink too...
ive replaced both blubs they looked really bad, glass was silver colored.
connections looked ok, the wires look fine. im confused by the left signal flashing when using the right blinker...
im not so familiar with wiring... anyone had this problem?
what could it be?

I was trying to think how to describe it, this was easier.
It's probably not necessary to unplug the bus like this, try brightening up the mounting tab and the apron surface behind the bolt.
