CT to CA

Hi, I'm Mike.

I'm picking up a wagon to build up before I move to CA in the fall for film school. This will be my first Honda after about 7 VWs. :)

I was under the impression that the CRX HF motor had a better fuel economy? I dont expect 56mpg in the heavier car, but I hoped to achieve better than 35 highway.

It does get better gas mileage. Because it weighs less and it's more aerodynamic.

I would get 40mpg in my B16 hatchback, on the highway. And sometimes 35 in the city (I religiously kept track thanks to iPhone app)

Mileage also relies heavily on the driver. I guarantee you could achieve similar mileage with a more powerful motor.
