Hello everybody,
My name is Michael, am 28 years old and live in Wilsonville OR. I snowboard a lot and was looking for a cheap ride to get me to the mountain without chains and my friend who is a honda enthusiast told me about the 4wd wagons. So I started looking for one and found this '91 last october. I bought it from some older people who took good care of it and barely drove it. (when I bought it, it had 83,000 miles on it.) It does look like it was in a small wreck or two though, its missing a matching wheel and the rear right side door has to be slammed to close due to some body damage. It has a few other dings but nothing to noticible. It has an auto tranny which I do not like and I could do without the automatic seatbelts but am considering doing a tranny swap. Overall i really like the car, I was'nt a big fan of it at first until I drove it in the snow and was very impressed. When I bought it though I stupidly never checked the condition of the timing belt and it slipped on me a few months after purchasing it, so my friend swapped in a sohc obd 1 zc. I have added a cheap intake and strut bars to it, and would like to put it on coil-overs so I can drive it low in the summer and high in the winter.( I dont want to plow snow) I also would like to supercharge it and possibly add some off-road lights. A bull bar would be nice but am unsure about it. And hopefully soon a yakima or thule rack. Im basically trying to turn it into a mountain machine while keeping it a daily driver.
