  • Thanks mods who moved this from Off Topic!
  • My wife and I had plans of buying this car when we learned last year that they would be releasing in 2012 until we learned that the would be using the 1.5 from the insight. They say its stronger so we do have plans to test drive it but its not likley that we will be making this purchase. I am still trying to figure out if I want the EVO X MR or the new Sbu Sti Wagon.

I don't really like the styling of it and I higly doubt if they will sell many of these small hybrids. Although honda sold many many civic hybrids here in the Nehterlands.
  • Hybrids should be 4 door family cars! This car says sporty, young buyers. Get rid of the hybrid, drop in the civic 1.8L or a K20 and go.

some source said it will have the 1.8 L engine w/ IMA and a 6-speed. so more power and way more torque then a regular civic.
nothing wrong with having hybrid power in a "sports car."

i don't like any party of it. I've had 3 CRX's and will always want another one... but it sure won't be this.

take the money you would spend on one of these CR-Z's and build the rex of your dreams.
  • It should be a little fun, but how much?

and this or the CRX are not really sports cars, they're just commuters with a little spice.

Nice to see Honda expanding the name plates. Lots of solid choices across the line up now.

I disagree with hybrids in general and I think this thing will be more like the old Insight than the CRX... I did hear that the next-gen Civic is going to be smaller and lighter though, which is a step in the right direction.

    Amen brother!

It's funny, our government wants these super high fuel efficiency cars.... but their safety regulations force all cars to be 3,000lbs!

Here's a wacky idea- teach people how to drive! The only reason I don't own a late model Civic is because of all the stupid ass extra safety equipment. Sorry, I dont need air-bags in my seat. I'll just do a better job at avoiding an accident, thanks.
