If you can get the same headlights for less, i would be interested.

They are just standard old plastic headlights...

Those were the single bulb Haydz, the USDM ones are dual & glass.

    germany had electric adjust?
    hmm did know that

    theres four then

    JDM plastic single bulb
EDM glass single bulb w/electric adj
    EDM glass single bulb
    EDM glass twin bulb
  • Yeah the headlights here have an electric adjustment switch on the inside that adjusts the beam up and down. Supposedly only made for Germany. Still bring in a pretty good penny even used over here and Wagodizzle owns all the switches for them

wish i had electric foldy mirrors though

AFAIK they didn't come on the shuttel. I'l happily be stood corrected. Teh switch in that auction page is NOT for an EF.

Twin bulbs with electric adjust would be the best IMHO.
It's nicer having your main bulb unshielded, plus the Wagon twin bulb over here uses H4 and H1 bulbs but the H4 only uses the dipped side.
In the CRX the wiring is such that a relay switches over the dim/main on the H4, but they left it out on the wagon !
Easy mod to make the euro's a bit brighter, grab the parts from a CRX to make it work.

IIRC, the UDM twin bulbs and 9006 and 9005 bulbs ?

yeh twin bulb headlights are great visability! its like having fog lights as well. :D
i prefer the look of the single'd ones though
  • Well I don't use the screw in sidelights with mine.
Just tie wraps on the later ones with mods and they stay put.

what bulb fits in the EDM single bulb ones?
also will they just bolt up like the OEM USDM ones?

    bulbs: 501's

yeh they fix the same 88-89 screw, 90-91 slide into the wing. the headlights have a extra slider on the side for the latespec sidelights, but isnt necesary
  • For the headlights, H4
For the twin headlights, H4 and H1

How did this become my thread? Lol.
  • It got split off from the thread that was originally about a certain ebay seller.

Yeah anything that is good information that gets thrown in with the marketplace discussion gets split off and turned into a topic by itself. :)
