rear view mirror removal??

hi guys,
im currently removing the interior plastics so i can get the roof lining out, but the thing i need to remove is the rear view mirror, but i cant figure out how it comes off. i know on CRX/HB's you unclip the cover, but this one isnt budging!!

help!!

need to get the roof bars on this week!

    im pretty sure you wont have to completely remove the roof liner to install the bars. when i installed my roof rack i just dropped the headliner by unclipping the plastic pieces along the roof and had plenty of access to the drilling and such.

    only reason i didnt remove it though was also because i didnt know how to remove the rear view mirror :lol:

    just grab the mirror and pull...it is just a big breakaway screw thing.....then you can unscrew the mounting plate

    yeh that was my initial plan, as thats what i have ready. think ill leave it before i damage something lol....>
