My first rallycross

Yesterday I took the wagon bombing through the dirt at the NER at NED (New England Region SCCA at New England Dragway) rallycross. OMFG, such fun! It's taking me a while to work up to the wagon's performance potential, mainly because I didn't realize it has so much under these conditions. Thanks to RT4WD I am unable to spin my wheels, so when I put the hammer down, the car just goes. The automatic isn't a problem, because speeds are low enough that I can just lock it into low (1st gear) and I've got all the speed I need.
I did pull/bounce a little wiring loose during the day - all for items I'd installed myself (a fog light wire, a power cable for my ham radio), and I had to zip tie the plastic bits underneath the front bumper back up into place so I didn't lose them. It was a good time, but not something I want to put my daily driver through on a regular basis. The car did amaze me with what it could do, however. It'll never place well in its class, however - stock/all wheel drive, right against WRXs and Evos with more than double my horsepower. Ah well - I'm just doing this for fun.

Yeah, that's me, doing my best Colin McRae impression.
