Removing outer tie-rods

I've got the ball joint removed from the spindle. Now how do I remove the inner section of the tie-rod? I downloaded a civic manual but doesn't talk about tie-rods.

    use 2 wrenches to get the lock nut loose then just spin it off

    or just put the ball joint back in to get the lock nut loose easier

    What size wrenches did you guys use? Looks like I'll have to purchase some tools.

    IDK i want to say like a 19mm

    Usually every big nut or bolt on a Honda is a 17mm or a 19mm excluding the halfshaft nuts, small nuts/bolts are 10,12,14mm
