Wire Tuck

Did anybody actually make a DIY wire tuck for the wagons? I am curious and I would like to do this but not really sure what the work involves.

Can anybody write a guide on how to do this would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks

I don't know, but would doubt anyone makes a kit for it. If you want to see a GREAT thread on someone tucking a honda, check this out:

I was not looking for a kit but a DIY article just like the link you posted. That was nice! I just need to know how may watts and what soldering lead does he use.

A soldering iron is a soldering iron really.

You could have the best iron in the world and get worse results than a $10 one. Just use what your comfortable with and what you can get good results with

im about to do a wire tuck on the wagon. i should have time to do it within a week. im not doing it myself but i will try to be there to help the guy im hiring to do it. i dont want to screw up anything so i am hiring a seasoned duude.

so far he did tell me how it will run per my request to cut nothing to very little of the harness. the engine harness was one i didnt want cut cause it brand new and costed me an arm and leg from honda. the explaination seemed pretty easy. it will depend on your wants. mine is pretty simple and i didnt want things cut too much so all we have to do is move stuff around and into holes in the fire wall. that will eliminate much of the clutter. also you will need a special tape that is no adhesive so that it wont become sticky on the wire side. its like the oem tape, if you notice the tape honda uses doesn make the inside wires all sticky even after years of it being on there.

ill try to take some pics of the work.
