At my house, you're welcome to come get it anytime. The sooner we can pull the swap the sooner I can get rid of the shell.
Let's wait 'til after this weekend. I want to get 'er done pretty quick so I can get back to my project.. yer timing sucks, Rev! Should be pretty straightforward- running swap car has all the parts needed, obd0 means easy wiring etc. Just have to come up with exhaust and intake...
Hey, Rev. If that glider is in good shape, I know there are some electric car guys who'd like to buy it. Put it up on eBay, The EV Tradin' Post, or diyelectriccar.com and you'll probably get a quick sale.
and figured we'd have a pretty straightforward swap. It was not to be. I pulled the dipstick and found chocolate milk, ughh. At first I considered just doing the head gasket with the engine still in the teg, so I could run it and get it right before doing the swap
but after checking it out, we decided a full rebuild was in order. It has been sitting around with water in it too long
The head looks freshly reworked, but all 4 valves on #1 leaked...?That cylinder wasn't firing, the spark plug well was full of water/oil sludge, plug was gas-fouled...weird. All 4 had 175psi compression, but 1 did come up slower.
Anyway, after checking the head out, I decided to save some cash the shadetree way
Managed to get 3 holes rough-honed before the power went out

Them Civics and Integras are like sheep to the slaughter for our wagons eh?
The revolution begins NOW.
Coming along nicely Rev, can't wait to see the cream machine with a B under the bonnet.
Haydz- Thanks man! I'm really excited about getting this all done. I want to do some extended top hats, too!
4 B-wagons in Atlanta
Got the rear interior back in and everyone cleaned their cars up today for our NW meet tomorrow.
Thanks NJ, hopefully we can knock it out so I can enjoy some power, finally. LOL
My car is a lot slower now the rear interior is in. Also put some heavier wheels on today.

Also, Dare was saying they didn't have a ys1 trans in 90-91 just now...so a 92-93 clutch it is?
Got it all torn down and cleaned up
