    Info would be great
  • ive installed these regularly at the shop i just quit, yes the hub adaptor is specific, well from what the boxes will tell ef is its own kit eg own kit as well as ek. any one of them can be used on ef cars (its a offset thing) but ef's wont work well with eg's or ek's, it rubs and make's noise its just not right  and if you do use the others on ef car it leaves a space in between the hub and the plastic guard. looks bad to me (my opinion) the quick relese kit works for 2 different wheel patterns (2 sets of holes) but i will say ive bolted down many a wheel and cheap one, old one, momo, sparco, nrg, mugen/momo, personal, nardi, grant, ect all used the some hole set! ive never used the other hole set, ever!

    hope this helps 8)

im pretty sure what is in your pic is universal
all you would need is the hub for your model of car

That's right. The NRG quick release adapter is just that: an adapter. It's not going to bolt to the OEM steering column in your car. It's meant to bolt to an aftermarket hub which in turn bolts to your OEM steering column. You would need to already have an aftermarket steering wheel of some kind with the appropriate aftermarket steering wheel hub (usually vehicle specific, but there's some interchangability as mentioned above). Also, the NRG part fits 2 different steering wheel bolt patterns (I know Momo and Sparco are different from Nardi and Personal), but the other bolt pattern is specific to the Momo bolt pattern.

werd i think i get it... so to use this shit... you need 1 adapter for sure... and then you can also purchase a quick release deal?

so adapter for 88-91 civic is this:

then this is optional quick release??? or is this required to mount wheel???

    then steering wheel:

You got it. I've rocked the stupid cheap eBay hub in the hatch and the wagon but it's pretty long so I'm always on the lookout for a short NRG.

I just installed one of these and I like that it brings the wheel back a little.

I like your style Bill. I was gonna do the same set-up but instead of the big quick release I was thinking of the slim NRG quick release with a Nardi woodgrain. ILL.

I'm loving those NRG hubs/adapters. I got a steering wheel of unknown brand off either a Nissan or a Toyota (I can't remember which as I was pretty happy I actually found a nice steering wheel). I just need to buy me a hub. The price of the ebay ones is nice but I'm weary of the fact that they are ebay specials. Anyone with experience with the cheapo ebay ones? As much as I'd like to, I can't afford to buy a hub that cost more than I paid for my car!

    Nice woodgrain wheel!

5 Bills?! I got my Momo Race Evo steering wheel, Momo adapter, and unknown brandname (same exact setup as the NRG) quick release used for 125 bucks. Shop around Bill, Im sure youll locate a similar setup for way cheaper. The stuff I got was from Ian there in IF. Damn, did I beat you to a deal????

yes get a NRG short hub.. the quick release is universal.. if you get a regular hub, the steering wheel will be right by your chest..
