Quarter panel rust repair replacement piece...

Hey guys,

Looking to fix some rust on the new wagon. I found these repair panels on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-89-90 ... enameZWDVW
and was wondering if anyone has used them on the wagon. Looks like a pretty good deal...just not too sure on fitment.

Thoughts?

its not wagon specific but i bet it would be a good start.

i guess you could always cut and fabricate it to work for the wago

but you have to worry about the integrety of the body after you cut n such to fit. you cant find another source for the body panel? i think it would be better to find a wagon specific panel.
  • At the cost and amount of work going into something like that, I'd rather not wing it. Do you know something I don't on where to locate stuff for the wagon, duckster?

try majestichonda.com. they usually have stuff in stock, and if they dont they'll locate them for you. if not, i say your only best bet is to look at the junk yards and hope for a clean quarter panel
  • A wagon...in a junkyard around here....without it's quarters rusted out?! Not possible. :o

Damn if majestic is my only hope, I better start saving up...

haha well majestic isnt the only place to buy them online. if you do a thorough search, you should be able to find a place with them cheaper. usually, if you wait, you'll come along a cheap deal, like free shipping or dollars off n such. OR you could spend the extra money to buy a parts car.

do you have the URL about the rear Quarter panel???
  • You are asking for a URL from two years ago. You are also looking at a thread where the two members in it haven't been seen in some time.

front fenders cut to fit the rear worked well for us.

just bumped my old restoration thread, might have some useful info.
