some phat fives/and some new gsr blades

just want to show you my work. and would you rock it?
here it goes on the left we will call it a and on the right will be b. a is the first one redone. b is stock and ugly curbed and just plain ole weathered.

nex two are a.

now b is on the left side and a is on the right.

the rest is all b.

did some for my friend too. came out better than my fives but nex time. will get some pics of it this weekend now that the snow is starting to clear up on the roads.

just showing you guys that it could be done but it took alot of sanding. in the end i was happy. let me know what you think.

looks good! how'd you do it?
well w/ the two i started w/ 100 grit, then 220,320and 420. then i skipped a couple grits and went straight to 800 grit w/ water then w/ 1500grit last was 2000 was the highest i went. if your going to do this make sure you use paint thinner to take the clear coat off. lol. and when you are at 800 to 1500 grit you wanna make sure you got all or most of the deep scratches out from the previous paper. remember i did the two both by hand no machines here. then off to your polish. i use mothers polish NOT the liquid in a bottle the cream stuff. but each their own.
The thing was like $20 but worth every penny when I need to clean a set of unprotected/uncoated polished rims.
