stopping power... or lack there of.

So im drivin my 90rt and hit the brakes and the pedal goes closer to the floor than normal. Okay so after driving the block and a half back home i take a look. I can feel air flowing out between the master cyl and the booster. So which is it. Maybe just a seal? heres the part that makes me scratch my head, the system will built pressure and store it untill you use the brakes on a harder stop. Ive got no leaks or fluid anywhere. The more you drive the more its hit or miss. It may leak air it may not. Ive got a spare booster and cyl. Im pondering an upgrade, seeing as how it gonna be out anyway.
What do you guys recommend? Anybody use da stuff? Ive already got spares of that.
Thanks guys.

without removing any brake lines or anything, take off the 2 m/c mounting nuts and check out the rubber seal between the m/c and booster. Pebbles' car had a vac leak and that's all it was.
  • thinking of brake mc upgrade? my suggestion is from a 94-95 gsr. use the 1'' master cylinder non abs. get the booster as well. just my two cents.\\\
