does anyone do conversion harness's?

Im looking to convert my 88 to obd1, for tuning purpose. I know there are many people that make them (boomslang, xenocron, rywire (my fav)) but I want to keep it in our community. And since a great deal of active posters are in oregon keep my money in the state. So can anyone make them? Im talking about the jumper harness for the ecu and the distributor conversion. Or if someone has one that they want to get rid of hit me up. I tried making one a few years ago and it worked but all the obd0 ecu's I have I dont want to rip apart for the plugs.

I know you said you want to keep it in our community but a guy on honda-tech by the name of monotech makes conversion harness's. You won't even need a jumper harness he has all that already built in.

I'd just go with Rywire. I've always dealt with them and never had any issues. Great products and great customer service. :D

Picked up a chipped PM6 and im going to use that for now. I think when it comes down to it im just gonna go with rywire or boomslang. Use the breaking my balls line and see who gives me a better deal and stickers....gotta have stickers!

I think Gabe (dj a-lo) on here got one from this guy. Looked like a pretty nice harness. Any idea on pricing? Reguardless, thanks for the heads up!

Ive used Rywire in the past with good results, but they stopped taking the old harnesses and build from sctarch now and they harnesses cost more. Was told this because the old harnesses are getting to brittle to work with naymore and cause more issues than its worth...which is completly understandable.

Jake sent me a few pms reguarding this, but I havent heard back from him yet. Does anyone know if he is capible of making them himself?

After thinking about it alittle more and doing up a friends car i think im just gonna go get the plugs and wires and just swap the plugs out one wire at a time. Cleaner look and less wiring to deal with.

I am perfectly capable of doing them myself, but I just don't have time. I also only do the ECU adapter. Not the chassis/engine harness adapter.

Likewise, and I hear ya. Wiring is time-consuming.

I think I found a local here thats got it figured out. Hes doing his crx here soon, so Ill watch the progress and if its a smooth transition, Ill have him do one for me too, lol.

Im leaning to un-pinning the stock connectors and just pinning them to obd1 connectors and calling it good. make it look cleaner. next q is will it re-pin with no problems.

OBD0 ECU pins will not fit into the OBD1 ECU connector bodies, nor will the pins fit the contacts on the OBD1 ECU. If you're talking about the connectors on the engine harness, I don't know for sure.
