front lower control arms???

can the front lower control arms be replaced with aftermarket ones???? for an rtawd???

  • yes but they are just aftermarket oem style, beck arnely brand makes them. they dont make a perfomance style one as far as i know. :wink:

    EG/DC have no provision for the radius arm that goes up to the front crossmember. I was going to fab a bracket that bolted through the hole for the EG/DC rearward radius arm that would permit the attachment of the EF front radius amr as well as the front sway bar, but then I decided to just sell them.

    You also would have some trouble with the inner bushing, as the EG/DC one is angled/offset whereas the EF one is straight on.

    This is one thing i do like about the EG's more. no front cross member or what ever you wanna call it. the eg's use a tq brace I think it what their called. When I had the CRX with the b16, we had to "notch" the front member so my type-r headers would clear. Car never felt the same after that. We reinforced the sh*t out of it too :(
