Went to a trackday on Tuesday, was raining in the morning and fined up in the afternoon.
I had 3 spectacular spins at 120kp/h+ in the wet, ended up off the track sideways/backwards and covered in mud

The Purply Blue wagon is a Honda Orthia, which I guess you could call a Civic as its based on a EK
It has a B20 Vtec engine which after 8years of thrashing decided to crack a sleeve on the 4th lap
He was on a very similar pace as the Ek racecar at one stage
I was hoping to have my Shuttle there as a friend was going to be taking it down, however plans changed so it stayed home
I was going to come down and marshal before work but I had just done an all nighter to auckland and back so needed the sleep..as comfortable as the floor behind the counter is though..
I saw neil in his orthia last sat cruising through Te Puna, I love that wagon
Yea Neils wagon is awesome, it was keeping up with Tim for about 4laps, then it decided it didnt like trackdays and cracked a sleeve
Ouch, seems Neil breaks something every race day :P

Yep, he knew it was on its way out, but hoped it would last the day.
Nah im not really into drag racing, and its a good 3hour drive each way
