Removing door trim yay or nay?

I had an idea and it doesnt seem like anyone has done it before

should i Remove the door trims (plastic lines going along) and seal up the holes?

could anyone do a photo shop for me?

    i looked at doing that too. but to do it the way i wanted to required welding in the grooves and then repainting.......i have a photoshop somewhere i will try to find later....

    no. The trim ties the 2 big goofy bumpers together, carries the line around the car. Even if you shave it, the 'ledge' in the body panels is left looking accidental. It's been done...can't remember who, but there are pics here somewhere.

    Mate just check out one of the Civic Pro's driving around Auckland. Most of them don't have that trim as they came without it from factory.

    It looks very very wrong to me. Also, back in the day clsmooth did the same thing to his ZC Wagon and IMO it looks kinda weird.

    thanks for that guys :) I'm waiting on the door trim to arrive sometime in the post... this is hte last time i deal with that wrecker... he is so slow
