seat installation

will any stock honda seats bolt right into the wago? i did a search and couldnt find anything other than modifying del sol seats and the like. thanks in advance.

    No. ITs not a direct bolt on. The reason being that the seat rails closest to the doors are taller than any other civic. If you want to swap seats you have to use those outer rails. and then mix and match the inners. I have also swapped out ef si seats onto a wagon and those were pretty much unbolt ef rails and bolt ee rails.

    i was guessing i would have to use those tall rails by the door. but i was considering putting in a set of blue or black buckets from either an integra or prelude if they would bolt in. i have a ractive seat a guy gave me that i was going to put in just for shiggles but my rails wouldnt bolt up to it. thas why i was asking.......

    When i did the integra seats in my old EE, I had to use the outer rails, I think i used the integra inners, and i swapped out these brackets on the inner rails by drilling out the big rivets.

    Play around with it a bit and you'll se what im talking about. start with the passenger side so you dont disable your car in case you need to move it. If the seatbelt chime bothers you just jump the terminals on the plug with some wire and it will stop.

    my seatbelts are mounted to the floor so the chime shouldnt be an issue. my biggest concern is how the cloth front seats will look with my vinyl backseat. i just have to find a matched set of seats now!! i really like the blue late 80's prelude seats but the only pair i have found was completely destroyed.

    ah thats sucks... if i would have known dude i could have gotten you a set for $20 each, i found a set too that was immaculate :x

    i got some 92 teg seats that are pretty damn nice, and i wanna put em in but i think the grey on the seats will look weird with the blue dash and shit.

    hehe i havent been in the yards in....3 months. :shock: need to go sometime soon though. to see whats up.
