automatic seats dont work

Any body's seat belt still automaticly move?
My automatic seat belts dont work its sort of annoying any body know how to fix this or tell me where i should be looking for wiring problems at or trouble shooting advice would be greatly appreactiated.

    i believe it actually might be covered by Honda's Lifetime seatbelt warranty. call your Honda dealer and ask them about that.

    no go forsure.. they said that the relay has a habit of going out ( i wonder why they dont make automatic seat belts ne more ) :roll: go figure got paid today lets see how much (and where) that relay is. . .

    about 40$ i had to have mine replaced a few years ago when it was my moms car, and you have to special order it via the honda dealership.

    I would check the fuse first. Think simple and grow complex as things check out.

    might be the solenoid in the box on the seat. where the belt slides in and out of

    Honda wanted to stay with autobelts,but the market wanted airbags.Honda resisted as long as they could,but sales dropped so they went airbag. :cry:

    My front driver belt is stuck forward and the passenger belt is stuck in the "closed door position". Went to Honda and they only cover the belt and the buckle, that's all. They wanted $50 to diagnose then labor and parts. Anyone know how to fix this problem. I don't mind paying for the motor, but I can do the install myself if that's what's wrong. Hey, at least the passenger side is in a safe position.

    like doodle said, check fuses. the fact that both belts arent working is fishy. did they go bad at seperate times or both at once?

    i believe you can prolly use the belts from a sedan at a junkyard. that would most likely be much cheaper ;)

    if its your motor thats wrong, simply pop out the plastic panelling along the pillars then unbolt the parts. its very straight forward.

    The fuses are super easy to find - they're located on the positive battery cable, right where it attaches to the battery post. Should be green 30 amp fuses.

    Ive had the seatbelts in my Integra replaced twice, and the auto belts from our EX sedan replaced once and was never charged a cent. Honda has a lifetime warranty on all seatbelts. You should not be charged anything ever.

    Your car has a wrench thing in the tool box that you can move the seatbelts with.. Turn them into the closed door position..

    Check fuses

    Or you could always buy my stock belts..


    Is there any beeping?

    i found out the previous owner disconected the part that connects to the battery, i dont kno where to run it,& it does beep ...
    hondas only replacing the bottom belt buckle cuz it doesnt latch sometimes but didnt help me at all with the auto seat belt part,
