plexieglass

anyone ever tried using it as a rear window?

glass is so expensive and so easy to break, so i figured i'd get it a try.

give me some ideas.

    rear glass is not that easily broken, and plexiglass will scratch to high heaven. you'll be left with a rear window that is a complete haze.

    something like this would work better,

    Lexan(polycarbonate):
    BAD:Scratches worst than Plexi(acrylic).
    GOOD:Better than Plexi.

    like quarters said, automotive glass is really not that easy to break. you'd better just stick with it for best results. :wink:

    there is a different kind of lexan that doesn't scratch to bad, but it costs MORE than glass.
