Hello from Canada
man before i start, shout out to @Tadas who probably has the nicest civic wagon on the planet. inspirational to keep anything that nice for that long is crazy.
here is my story. my wife wanted to learn manual and there aren't many manual driving schools around anymore. so my original plan was buy something relatively nice, that's easy to flip. after my wife can drive manual well, the plan was to sell it. since then, the plan has not been going well, as my wife and I both want to keep the car.
i wish i knew more about the car but i bought it around 180,000km from a kid who only had it for 1 year. from the carfax is seems like it's been in a barn for like 10 years. its in incredible condition with very little to no rust. there was an accident in the 90's that resulted in a rebuilt title but I can't find anything that actually shows that.
Here are the list of things I did to it so far since purchasing in June
- Windshield wipers replaced and cigarette lighter corrosion cleaned up because it wasn't working
- Aligned and lubricated door triggers, Distributor Cap and Rotor replaced, Ignition Coil
- Rear Headrests parts found on ebay

- Facebook marketplace passenger side headlight

- Main relay conversion to traditional relay

- timing belt, water pump, idler, CV axels and seals, cam seal, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, thermostat, brake fluid bleed, coolant flush, spark plugs, alternator belt, oil change, pcv valve, transmission fluid, tires, alignment

here are some other things I found useful:
here are some pictures of before and after under-coating. the car was in pretty insanely good condition for its age.
