Took a little over an hour today, grinded down the Honda and the 16 valve parts, cleaned up the entire engine bay.
How's it look now?

is this good?
i like the color!
but it'll get changed to match the exterior after i get it painted.
and for the record, this vc was so fucking hard to paint, sanding in between the timing belt cover and the side of the vc was so hard. :x
haha thanks man. i used a lot of degreeser and a pressure washer. took around an hour but well worth it!
what should i paint next? and what color?
hahaha martin you smartass. i mean engine and interior wise. the cars going to be black! idc if you like it or not
im paint everything black like njcivicwagon's wagon. except im also painting the bottom trim. it'll get paint after i get the new body parts.
it's going to sit on some black with chrome edges 15's" idk what brand or kind yet
Would it not have been easier to simply remove the VC and paint it outside of the engine bay ??
I plan on painting the same 2 things you did... but flat black.
Cheers !!
dude, i did remove it.
when you remove the vc the part that holes the timing belt cover in place has about a 3 inch drop that you have to sand between. look closer.
Oops... I misread. :P
i know i know :P um, i like black. as long as its nice and shiny
i think your engine painted days are done :P stuff looks good
