Wondering my options to repair rear differential

My 91 rt4wd differential is not working, I know this because I put it on the lift, noticed the driveshaft was spinning but not the diff, just wondering what are my options to repair the diff, any information would he helpful, not really interested in having a 2wd wagon

    Did you try spinning it between the coupler & diff or tranny & coupler.?
