Shift Stops?

Has anyone looked into shift stops. I've heard that the forks in the 5 speed can be weak. Not that I'm slamming the shifter, or anything, but it is a short shifter with an extension and large shift knob.

The T5 shifter I have has adjustable shift stops built into it. I was just wondering if anyone has looked into this, or if it's even worthwhile to do.

    The shift stops are built into the design of shift arm A. It along with the interlock guide bolt are subject to wear from overly aggressive shifting.
