Roller bearing removal to access VC

Anyone know how? Tried hammering and prying. Edit: Carrier bearing.

    I'd say tighten the bearing down in a vice and give the VC shaft a few whacks. Make sure you keep that nut on the VC shaft so you don't damage it.

    Seized the bearing up. I know just enough to break stuff.

    I just held the bearing and popped the shaft out with a hammer. I gave it a pb blaster hose down first though.

    I used a bearing & gear puller from HF. Worth the money.
