Front & Rear Bumper Supports 91 4wd Lighter Options?

Looking to shed a few extra pounds off the front and rear of my 91 4wd wagon. Does anybody know if the 88 crx HF front and rear bumper supports will work with a 91 civic wagon front/rear bumpers?

Also found this for the rear to shed a few pounds, is it compatible?

Hatch is different to wagon so no that wont work, need a JDM Shuttle one.

    For the front:
SIR one will not work, you need a PFL JDM one. Again they are just a small, light piece of metal

jdm bumper supports are just that. they keep the bumper in place and not much else. they are made of damn near the same gauge metal as a fender and would do little to nothing to protect your car in a collision. just an fyi ;)

ive seen quite a few people make thier own to replace the heavy usdm supports. none were pretty, but they held the bumper in place. just keep in mind, if you are racing with the scca, doing a mod like this bumps you up from the popular classes most civics fall into.

No. When the USDM bumper gets hit it pushes back and fouls the body, when the JDM bumper is hit it folds in and simply pops back out. Obviously only in low speed collisions. Either way they aren't much different at high speed.
