Are driver and passenger side seats intechangable?

Driver side is in rough-ish shape and the ones I'll find will be too I'm sure... If I were to find a nice passenger side seat, could I just swap over the seatbelt stuff and make it work on the driver side?

    You can swap covers and foams. Not sure about your seat belt thing, we dont have auto belts here.
    Recliner mechanism would be on the wrong side if you swapped driver and passenger I'd imagine, but foam and covers are identical so I'd just swap them
